Founded in 1988, Pacific Geotechnical Engineering is an established engineering geologic and geotechnical engineering consulting firm with experience and expertise in engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, and design and construction services. Our client base ranges throughout northern California. We are based in Morgan Hill, California.

We provide expertise through the full range of project phases, from initial concept through post-construction monitoring. We emphasize the identification and evaluation of geologic hazards, and the development of creative, practical geotechnical engineering solutions and mitigations that are appropriate to the site. We bring abundant experience in addressing such geotechnical challenges as active faulting, seismically induced ground failure, landsliding, construction on deep uncontrolled fill, Bay mud, expansive soils and bedrock, and soil creep.

PGE provides services for residential, commercial, municipal and industrial projects.
